CyberPanel is a modern and fast hosting control panel built on OpenLiteSpeed web server. SSL certificate installation is extremely easy in CyberPanel — in most cases it can be done with one click. In this guide, we discuss SSL installation, CSR creation and advanced SSL configurations in CyberPanel in detail.
1. One Click SSL Setup (Let's Encrypt)
One of the biggest advantages of CyberPanel is the ability to install Let's Encrypt SSL certificates in one click:
- Login to CyberPanel management panel (https://server-ip:8090)
- Click "SSL" → "Manage SSL" from the left menu
- Select or enter domain name
- Click the "Issue SSL" button
- The SSL certificate will be installed in a few seconds

*.example.com - Select your DNS provider (Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, etc.)
- Enter your API key

2. Creating CSR
You will need to generate a CSR for a paid SSL certificate:

- Select Domain
- Switch to the "Install Custom SSL" tab
- Fill in the following fields:
- SSL Certificate: CRT file content
- SSL Private Key: Private key content
- Click the "Save" button

Frequently Asked Questions
Is SSL automatically obtained for each domain in CyberPanel?
No by default, but when you do SSL → Issue SSL for each domain, an automatic renewal cron job is created.
Should I use OpenLiteSpeed or LiteSpeed Enterprise?
In terms of SSL, they both work the same way. Enterprise edition offers more features but is paid.
