You carry out every step from order to installation in your customer panel.
Select the certificate and the term and create the order; after payment, the certificate is ready for configuration in your panel.
Generate the CSR on your server and paste it into the panel, then select the validation method (e-mail, DNS or file). Your private key stays on your server.
Validate the domain with the method you selected. For OV and EV products, the certificate authority also verifies your organization details.
When the certificate is issued, you download it from the panel and install it on your server. Free reissue before the term expires is also done from the same place.
Annual prices for Sectigo certificates range from $9.99 to $2,999.00 (excluding VAT). The price varies depending on the validation type, Wildcard or multi-domain coverage, and the selected term.
Our Sectigo products include domain-validated (DV), organization-validated (OV) and extended-validation (EV) certificates. For personal sites, blogs and small projects, DV, which only verifies domain ownership, is sufficient; if you want your organization's name to appear in the certificate, choose OV; if the most comprehensive organization validation is required, EV is preferred. To protect all subdomains with a single certificate, look at Wildcard; for multiple domains, look at multi-domain (SAN) products.
DV certificates are usually issued within minutes after domain validation is completed. For OV certificates, the process usually takes 1–3 business days because organization details are also verified. EV validation is more comprehensive and usually takes 1–5 business days. The time depends on how quickly the validation steps are completed.
Under CA/Browser Forum rules, newly issued SSL certificates are valid for a maximum of 200 days. If you buy a term of one year or longer, you can reissue your certificate free of charge from your panel before it expires and install it on your server.
Domain ownership is validated by one of three methods: a confirmation link sent to the administrative e-mail address of your domain, a record added to DNS, or a validation file uploaded to the server. You choose the method yourself from your panel after the order.
